Dear PCA Family,
It is with deep regret that we write this letter to inform you that after more than two years of much prayer, discussion and unsuccessful efforts to increase enrollment, the decision has been made to cease operation of Phillipsburg Christian Academy as of June 30, 2016.
PCA has served our community for 40 years and it is loved by students, families, alumni and staff alike. It was a very difficult decision to make.
Efforts have been made over the past several years to correct a declining enrollment without success. The result has been an ever-increasing negative budget and cash flow to the extent that the ministry of PCA is no longer self-sustaining.
We do not always understand God’s ways, but we do know that He is in control! We continue to seek God’s miraculous intervention and would be delighted to announce such a blessing should the Lord choose to take such action. At this late date, however, we will exercise proper stewardship and begin the steps necessary for closing this ministry’s doors. We encourage you to begin similar planning for your family and consider other options for your children’s educational needs for September.
We ask that you continue to pray for Phillipsburg Christian Academy and its entire devoted staff. We know and rest on our Lord’s promise to “direct our paths” as we trust Him for the future.
